Heidy Kwan Russell, PhD
Director, Biostatistics

Dr. Russell has 14 years of experience in biostatistics.  At PROMETRIKA, Dr. Russell’s responsibilities have included providing scientific input and overseeing the statistical design of clinical trials, writing and review of clinical study protocols, conducting statistical analyses for clinical trials, writing statistical sections of clinical study reports, and participating in the design of clinical development programs and regulatory submissions with primary oversight of statistical and data quality aspects.  Dr. Russell has undertaken statistical project management activities for several studies and has supervised SAS programmers and other staff.

Prior to joining PROMETRIKA, Dr. Russell served as Principal Biostatistician at Muro Pharmaceutical/Viatris, Inc., which she joined in 1997.  Prior to joining Muro, Dr. Russell worked as a statistician at Boston University’s Statistics and Consulting Unit providing statistical services to various drug companies, as well as the FDA. She has also published in various scientific journals.  She is a co-author of sixteen chapters in the Encyclopedia of Biostatistics published by John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
