POSITION TITLE:
Manager/Associate Director, Database Programming (MDBP)

- Manage and supervise a team of Database Programmer(s): Ensure each team member has an agreed upon employee development plan, monitor each project assigned to the team, quality check each deliverable prior to sending to internal or external clients, prepare and present yearly merit performance reviews, ensure timely feedback to employees on the team, prepare and implement solutions for complex issues
- Develop and update database programming SOPs and training manuals. Conduct training for the junior level developers/programmers as well as data entry and data support staff. Coordinate the creation of annotated case report forms and design computerized databases in accordance with standardized database structures including the design of data entry screens. Oversee and/or participate in the development and testing of programs (in Clintrial 4.X, SAS, SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle, MS ACCESS or other computer languages) to validate clinical trial data. Develop and lead initiatives to automate and standardize key DM and Clinical Operations processes and implement new systems according to company goals and initiatives.
Must have a Bachelor’s degree and be proficient in CLINTRIAL and SQL. Knowledge of other relational database systems, warehousing, SAS, CTMS systems, EDC systems, data entry systems and programming languages is a plus.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical trials is required. A minimum of 2 years management experience is preferred.How To Apply
