Database Programmer (DBM)

Become a part of a growing DBM department with an extensive experience base. Working within a strong team environment, the DBM will have the opportunity to work on all aspects of a clinical trial. Utilize your skills and knowledge to create innovative solutions for trials in all phases and/or therapeutic areas. Work with diverse companies, personnel and technologies. Multiple job levels within Database Programming available based on your expertise.
Design databases (including data entry screens) in CLINTRIAL 4.X in accordance with standardized database structures and/or study specific annotated CRF. Develop eCRFs using EDC software.
Write, execute and test PL SQL and/or SAS edit check programs. Generate data listings and/or other programs to facilitate data validation. Convert databases to SAS datasets for analysis and CDISC requirements.
Design quality control measures and conduct database audits to ensure the integrity of the clinical trial databases.
Receive and manage external files including the integration of the data within the study specific datasets or databases.
Design and maintain databases for workflow management within the company as needed.
Design and develop applications to enhance systems and processes as required by operations.
Must have a Bachelor's degree and 2-3 years of experience in database management or relational database systems. Additional SAS programming applied to clinical trials data would be a plus.
