My name is Robert Brennan, and I am a current senior at Boston College studying Biochemistry with a minor in Finance. I completed a Quality Assurance Internship at PROMETRIKA in Summer 2024, where I worked and learned under the Head of Quality Assurance.
During my internship, I worked on quality-related projects, interfacing with many different functional areas at PROMETRIKA, including Data Management, PROMETRIKA Technology Group, and Human Resources. I also helped with QA-specific responsibilities, such as audits and compliance training. I was able to gain practical experience with Microsoft Excel, as I was tasked with updating and improving some of PROMETRIKA’s Quality Metrics using the software.
One highlight of my internship experience at PROMETRIKA was the Technical Training program, in which I was exposed to the projects and services that different teams within PROMETRIKA work on with sponsors. The specific training material, along with the friendly interactions with team members at PROMETRIKA, from other interns to the Leadership Team, helped me to learn a lot about Clinical Trials.
The training, along with participating in QA’s interactions with other teams at PROMETRIKA, created an internship experience that allowed me to learn and grow, but also allowed me to contribute in many different ways.
